We are excited to announce that Madi (Woodecoy Irresistible JH) has been bred to Tule (Southern’s Gem State Rum Tum Tule JH CGC NA1, AKC major pointed). Puppies will be due in early April with a go home date of early June 2024. We are expecting WHPGs with good structure, correct coats, wonderful temperaments and excellent hunting ability.

Madi is a beautiful girl with a correct wirehaired coat. She has been hunted on wild quail and chukar, and has been used to guide at Lone Pine Pheasant Club in Lone Pine, CA. Madi is energetic in the field, good in the water and loves to retrieve. She has her AKC Pointer Junior Hunter title and 2 legs towards her AKC Retriever Junior Hunter title, which requires retrieving ducks on land and in water. At home Madi is easy to live with, gets along well with our other dogs and loves people. She is a cuddle bug as well.

Tule is a handsome boy with correct coat and structure and moderate size. He is hunted on upland game – grouse, pheasant, chukar and Hungarian partridge in Idaho and loves the water so waterfowl retrieving will be in his future as well. He scored a perfect score on his Natural Ability test and has an AKC Pointer JH title. In the breed ring he is AKC major pointed. He is an excellent hunter in the field with a beautiful natural point and easy to live with at home.

Both Tule and Madi have OFA screenings for hips, elbows, eyes and thyroid.
